Differentiated Autonomy

Line 4-Yellow of São Paulo Metro has a driverless system, which allows the train to operate without the presence of a driver. Considered the safest in the world, this automation was the first in Latin America.

Extra Security

Lines 4-Yellow and 5-Lilac of São Paulo Metro have platform doors that open together with those of the train, helping to reduce accidents and interruptions.

Eco-efficient Renovation

Soon, ViaMobilidade Lines 8 and 9 will offer 36 new trains. With a modern design and lower consumption of electricity, the vehicles will be lighter, with wider windows and corridors, providing more comfort to passengers.

Marriage proposal on Line 4 – Yellow

Dancer Maércio Maia proposed to his boyfriend, journalist Renato Lobo, on a train on Line 4-Yellow. Discover some initiatives promoted for the well-being of people who are in our spaces every day.

Support point for couriers

ViaMobilidade offers at Eucaliptos Metro Station, in the south zone of São Paulo, an exclusive support space for application delivery people. Free of charge, the place has benches and sockets to charge cell phones, two bathrooms and a pantry equipped with a microwave, filtered water and a place to eat.

Reading Project

To encourage the habit of reading, ViaQuatro and ViaMobilidade maintain a reading project at the stations. These places have shelves to encourage the donation, reading and sharing of books. Just place or remove a copy.

Bike Integration

The metro lines and metropolitan trains in São Paulo, managed by ViaQuatro and by ViaMobilidade, offer free bike storage for their passengers. In addition, bikes can be taken on trains and subways – throughout the weekend and at special times during the week.
